The Tanner Report: Fulham 1 Leicester 1

There is no doubt that perfomance has improved under Claudio Ranieri: 4 points have been achieved under him whist Slavisa Jokatovic only managed 5 in many more games.

We deserved to beat Leicester but, if you do not take your chances, you can blame no one but yourself. I was disappointed that Luciano Vietto, yet to score for Fulham, should be selected ahead of Tom Cairney but at half-time this substitution was made.

One revelation in the past 4 games is Calum Chambers in midfield.

He looked out of place and sorts in central defence and right back, but in midfield he not only provides a touch of steel but normally has two solid goal chances producing great saves every game. This is important as only Seri has scored from midfield.

I was surprised to see Abou Kamara too picked ahead of Schurrle but he took his chance well to put Fulham into the lead.

We really should have added another but the excellent James Maddison who runs the show for the Foxes got a late equaliser.

Whilst mindful of the saying that teams which don’t deserve to go down normally do and we are still bottom, I remain confident we will get out of trouble.

The defence has improved with keeper Sergio Rico outstanding, there are goals in the side and it’s desperately tight at the bottom.
