Just in

An infinite variety?

Sometimes lists and historical industry overviews allow a combination of reflection and education.

In the world of cinema I often find rewards from reading analyses of genres – horror, biography, sci-fi, comedy etc. – and/or the entire bodies of work of individual actors or directors, not least because I enjoy both being reminded of things I had forgotten and testing whether I agree with the author’s opinions and conclusions.

Here’s one that I spotted – Jose Sommerlad reviewing movie depictions of US Presidents (real and fictional) down through history, as appears today upon the website of – THE INDEPENDENT
