Another Rust first …

We on this organ take a sense of humble pride in our ability to move with the times.

One of the guiding principles of the Rust that has contributed significantly to its global success is that, besides our self-imposed remit to observe the doings of human society from our perspective as citizens “beyond a certain age”, we also strive to provide our readers with three things – useful practical advice; goods and services that may be of interest; and finally opportunities that hopefully may add security, amusement and a sense of fulfillment to their lives in the manic 21st Century.

Today we are able to launch our latest “special offer” to Rusters – a chance not only to get involved in the brash new world of entrepreneurial digital commerce but develop their interest in art and from time to time acquire examples of great beauty and significance with which to decorate their homes.

As the most straightforward way of introducing our exciting new project I can do no better than refer readers to the The First 5,000 Days, a work by the hitherto little-known American artist Beeple in the form of as JPG file version of a piece of virtual work that has been turned into a unique item -or “non-fungible token” (or NFT for short) – [see image above].

Of additional interest may be this article by Frances Mulraney on the amazing success of the work that appears today upon the website of the – DAILY MAIL

And now to the Rust’s brand new offer:

Below is the first work in an ongoing series of images that will appear each week upon our website.

It is a unique NFT entitled Black:

Readers interested in acquiring it should apply to the Rust’s commercial department at its usual address.
