Babylon Berlin

SKY ATLANTIC’S Berlin Babylon come to an end last night and I was not much the wiser how the various plot threads tied up. This was because even before the final credits the next series was being promoted.

Central character Inspector Rath is not returning to Cologne, he had destroyed the porno films which apparently featured Konrad Adenauer which nicely frees him up for the next series. I enjoyed the location shooting and some of the acting, there were some interesting character parts, but I felt set up and will not watch the second series. Of course such decisions are now not so finite as I guess many will have already downloaded the second series and binged on them.
