The Seagulls winless streak extend to 6 games amd although no reason to panic as we are ninth but nonetheless doubts must be gathering whether Fabian Hürrzeler is up to the job. Brighton have shelled out near enough £200m on new players whom Hürzeler rotates. Against Brentford, Matt O’Riley and Gruda were picked but next game they may be dropped and it could be Weiffer and Jorginho selected. Not fancying the cold at the Amex , I watched the game on Amazon. It was dre and had I known that the Prince of Verbiage Clive Tydesley was principal commentator I may have decided to go to the stadium. Amazon ‘s coverage was summed up when they displayed the Brighton team they showed Julio Enciso up front with Joao Pedro behind him. As Enciso has not scored for 18 months and Pedro is our top scorer this was unlikely and of course did not happen. They ‘bigged up ‘the match in preview promising us goals but none were scorerd.
Brighton were the better side with more chances and possession but could not convert this into the hard currency of goals largely because they over elaborated in the penalty area.
