Brighton 0 Burnley 0

This was a game that is bound to be shown last on Match of The Day.

The highlights can be condensed into 90 seconds. After apparently a bust up in training Matty Ryan in goal and forward Neil Maupay were restored to the team but there were no Solly March, Leandro Trossard, Davy Propper nor Lewis Dunk.

Brighton played fluid football in 2/3 rds of the pitch but in the final third lacked penetration and execution.

Burnley were well-drilled and organised but lacked quality.

Their England keeper Nick Pope could deal with such few chances as the Seagulls made.

I did not find it easy to subscribe and, after I eventually did, had to watch it on my iPad. It was not worth the effort.

Some things are best conducted behind closed doors and Brighton 0 Burnley 0 was one of them.
