Brighton 0 Cardiff 2

Brighton’s fourth consecutive defeat without scoring has opened up the relegation trap door. Cardiff are now just two points behind. True, the Seagulls have the superior goal difference and a game in hand.

However the run in comprises away games at Spurs and Arsenal and a final game at home to Manchester City.

Goals have gone dry. Glenn Murray has not scored since December at home and the defence is no longer watertight. Anthony Knockaert who is suspended is sorely missed. Cardiff under Neil Warnock will battle, Brighton are out of form.
