Every little helps …

This far in, I’m sure there are few Rusters – or indeed leading world sporting bodies – left unaware of our hardline stance on performing-enhancing drugs and indeed anyone (sorry Christine Ohuruogu, lovely lady no doubt, who retired from athletics last month) ever found to have been guilty of even a technical ‘drugs’ offence e.g. by somehow contriving – or being absent-minded enough – to be unavailable for random routine drug tests a well-publicised-in-advance number of times in succession.

Accordingly please allow us a slight indulgence as we raise a name-check one Chris Cook, a horse racing tipster.

I don’t personally know the gentleman, nor indeed am I aware of his background or previous journalism efforts, but today we salute the cut of his jib and his preparedness to raise his head above the parapet in the cause of sporting integrity.
