Fiorentina 2 Torino 2

The word “casino” (crisis) could have been invented with Fiorentina in mind as throughout my support and my father’s there was rarely a period of calm. After conceding 4 second half goals v Borussia Monchengladbach and exiting the Europe League, Paolo Sousa’s job was on the line. There were rumours that the owners the Dalle Valle brothers wanted to sack him Friday but did not do so after the intervention of sporting director Corvino. 300 Ultras turned up at the training ground to vent their spleen and there was a boycott at last night’s match. Fiorentina might have been up at half-time as chance after chance went begging. They were 2-0 ahead at half time. In the second half Bellotti of Torino missed a penalty but redeemed himself with 2 goals so the match ended 2-2. I cannot see Sousa surviving now but the problems in the club will not be resolved by a new manager if he is not given a budget and is expected to sell our best players.
