Harlequins 19 Leicester 20

With Quins losing 6 players to England for Six Nations training in Girona – and Leicester losing all 3 props – both sides had to field scratch sides and it showed.

Quins were not their fluid normal selves and did not really assert themselves till the final quarter.

In the 79th  minute Tyrone Greene went over and Quins might have won had Jarrod Evans converted but his effort skewed wide.

Joe Launchbury led the side well and the tries of Nick David and Tyrone Greene showcased Quins’ flair

Tigers fielded 38 year old Mike Brown on the wing who scored a try but without over-celebrating: would you if you had a bar named after you at the Stoop after such sterling service for the Quins?
