For those of us who were pleased and indeed perhaps nostalgic to be reminded recently of the Apollo 11 mission to ‘send men to our satellite and return safely to the Earth’ on its fiftieth anniversary, some may now also be interested to learn of the latest scientific discovery that the Moon may be far older than previously thought.
