Life goes on for some

As Bernie Ecclestone continues to wrestle with the business problems of Formula One – rumours still persist that up to three of the smaller F1 teams may boycott today’s US Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, later today after two went into administration last week – it is perhaps worth remembering that the plight of two drivers.

I’m referring, of course, to Jules Bianci of the Marussia team – still receiving intensive care in Japan after his crash in the Grand Prix there a few weeks ago – and Michael Schumacher, the seven-times world champion, who is now being cared for at his home in Switzerland.
