No answers – and maybe more questions
It is a fact that in sport – as with everything – life simply goes on, sometimes even as one is looking the other way amidst the dross of supposed ‘news’ stories and careful placements.
Rust readers won’t need reminding that British cycling has been suffering this past half-decade from envious carpings over how successful it is, rumours of skulduggery, suspicions of coach bullying and sexism and – of course – the various machinations and supposed doings of Team Sky involving Sir David Brailsford, Sir Bradley Wiggins and drug-taking exemptions which include allegations of suspect packages being couriered across the continent of Europe.
