Quins-watch 2018/2019: first game of the season
Gallagher Premiership 2018/2019 – Round 1 (Saturday 1st September 2018): Harlequins v Sale Sharks at The Stoop: Result – Harlequins 51 Sale Sharks 23: Harlequins 5 league points (bonus point for 4 tries) Sale 0 league points: Harlequins 2nd in the league table, Sale Sharks 11th.
Derek Williams is not unwell.
However, he did not attend the above match. Nor did he watch it on television, because it was not broadcast live. He did listen to the live Radio London broadcast commentary on the match for the first twenty minutes, this whilst going about his business at home, before then setting off to go to his local health club in order to take some exercise and have a sauna.
When asked, he said that he had still not yet decided whether or not he was going to attend and/or watch any Harlequins matches this season – or indeed report upon them for the Rust.
