The sporting equivalent of “When did you last stop beating your wife?”

For an organ, and indeed a sports editor, that have adopted an avowed position that all world sports administrations are corrupt (and indeed, the more powerful they are, the greater the likelihood that they are absolutely corrupt – not least the Olympics), it may seem to some Rusters somewhat counter-intuitive or contradictory that in recent days I have been repeatedly drawing attention to the currently ongoing Winter Olympics taking place in Beijing – not that, of course, I am watching or listening to any of the coverage as a matter of principle.

I’m afraid I cannot resist it.

In which context I now present a link to a report by David Jones and Nick Fagge that appears today upon the website of the – DAILY MAIL
