“WOKE”-WATCH LATEST

It is a duty that falls to me – as editor of The Rust – to bring to the attention of our adherents the latest madness from the 21st Century “woke”/diversity fraternity and I take no particular pleasure today in having to present to you the following:-

HIGHWAY CODE CHANGES – UK MOTORISTS BEGIN FIGHT BACK

The weak-kneed apologists in public service now addicted to virtue-signalling do not appear to appreciate what they’ve been unleashing recently.

In the cause of bowing down to the “Save Or Planet” loonies they have now perhaps unconsciously but effectively given the cyclists and E-scooter fanatics carte blanche to bring the UK economy and “way of life” to a halt.

I and the Memsahib spent the weekend on a break in the West Country and found ourselves held up umpteen times in serious traffic queues on the way to Somerset by cyclists hogging the middle of the sometimes winding roads – and ye4t worse was to come we cruised through Bath where gangs of three to seven E-scooter riders were to be spied speeding, totally out of control, around streets the city centre – a practise [viz. clogging up the public highway and terrorising pedestrians] that until recently was illegal.

And may still be, for all I know.
