We normal people are going to take over!
Okay, I’m coming out of the closet. After my recent rant about the pain of travelling on passenger airplanes with young, out of control, noisy or badly-behaved kids – which I’m told prompted a huge positive social media response and a new Rust record as the contribution attracting the biggest mailbag ever from our readers – I’m extending my campaign on behalf of beleaguered child-free (or even not child-free) sensible adults all over the world who don’t want to bother other people – but also don’t want other people to spoil their own quiet enjoyment of what the world has to offer – to other areas of life.
In this modern world where anyone can declare themselves any gender or sexuality-type they want and thereby demand that every organisation and public place must alter its accessibility, toilets, rules & regulations, policies and uniforms to make these self-identified ‘diversity-wolves’ feel, not just at home, but equal with [for which we normal humans can read ‘specially-privileged’ amongst], the rest of the human race … why should not the Government be required to provide – and/or give huge tax breaks to business who set up – cafes, pubs and restaurants that are completely child and pet free?
